The Little Campbell River Returns 2016

Mostly throughout the year this little river seems undistinquishable and sometimes could be mistaken for a ditch.  From the higher trails when you look into this flood plain only the cottonwoods, birches, rushes and cattails mark the actual rivers course.  While coming back today from visiting family in Langley there was a sunny break in the weather and we stopped to walk in this lovely park.  Heavy rains had been around for most of the morning and the little Campbell River was swollen and moving beautifully through the valley with the cold blue sky reflecting back before the next rainstorm arrives.
