Their Cloud Trees 2016

The cloud trees so high in that vapour,
For the strained space above the timber,
As the feeble branches reach out and tease,
From about the tops of those mammoth voids,
With the eagles so beautiful,
Shimmering heads so feathery white and ready for the test,
Just to linger along with the elements,
Send away those vulturous crows,
In their murderous volleys,
They scream like the banshees which awaken my dreaded memories,
But only the tender songbirds please our crowd,
Throughout the nature of this day at Mount Currie,
Love to all the moving voices that live to own this forest space,
For now the clouds are aware and yet dare to race,
Eagles we need your bold strength in common degrees,
Agree to protect us and soar with silent power amongst your cloud trees.
