National Indigenous Peoples Day 2024!
As a school teacher, my wife and I have been teaching in this high school for decades. On this day in our faculty, we have many indigenous staff members who attended many of their celebrations. Currently, however in Canada it is not considered a statutory holiday yet.

Easter Monday in B.C. 2024!
We have friends staying with us during this Easter Holiday long weekend. They left this evening back to Williams Lake and it's still quite cold up north, like it is around here. The leaves in all the trees have begun to grow more vigorously and now the cherry-blossom trees are blooming beautifully on some of the city streets and in the parks.

Good Friday 2024!
We spent a lovely day travelling and visiting many friends along the Sunshine Coast. Weather is still quite cold and the sun finally came through the clouds. Such a long day but beautiful scenery and we did some oil painting on board and when the paint dries, its pretty and giving to them as a gift when they visit us soon.
