I would have never imagined driving along River road in Richmond and coming upon wildflower trails. This painting was quickly painted in oil and I did another lovely watercolour painting. We always enjoy visiting in Spring those trails again and what a treasure; every year many more beautiful flowers growing wild.
Thank you Lesley for your kind comment. I've always enjoyed painting especially in Spring; the flowers do enhance the landscape with all their different shapes and colours. Bye, Richardson.
Welcome to Richardson Art Gallery
Dear Friends,
Thank-you for visiting Richardson's Art Gallery site. I'm a true believer of Nature as one of Gods gift's to us all.
I'm addicted to immersing myself in the glorious Canadian landscapes of the backcountry, forests, marshlands, trails, beaches and even the abundance of parklands in my Westcoast backyard.
As a self-taught artist I'm constantly exploring, learning, enjoying and creating my compositions. Please enjoy and endulge yourselves in the equilibrium of the Expressionistic Impressions of my feelings and emotions of this beautiful country.
Please-when you venture out into Nature, inhabit and stop to view the landscape and terrain about you and think of your fellow Man and how lucky we all are....And your Soul will soar toward a newer seeing of Peace.
Thank-You.

Love looking at your blog. Your art is very inspiring :)....We don't get to the west coast often, but it truly is a beautiful place!
Thank you very much Leola for your kind comment and visiting my blog!
I like the looseness and depth of this impressionistic painting - flowers are wonderful, aren't they?
Best wishes, Lesley

Bye,
Richardson.
I really like this painting. At first I thought it was pastel until
I read that it was painted in oil.
Loose and painterly.
Thank you Anita for coming to my blog for a visit and for your kind comments!
