This series of the abandoned car at the forest of Boundary Bay is completed now. I'm sure I have other pencil and ink sketches done during that summer of '95.My family and I set up our tents nearby the vehicle which had broken down probably around forty years earlier. Eventually that would become one of my favourite subject matters.
This oil on panel is more detailed then the other compositions. The forest, sky, mudflats, sea, all the animal and insects, and even the lovely cloud formations were painted too.
