The joy of a sketching trip is to indulge yourself in complete reflection of perhaps the journey to that special place with all the right elements present. I always find the studio of nature very pleasureable and I set out all my art materials on the earth and begin to express my inner feelings. I hope these two oils on canvas of the Squamish and Pemberton region evoke a sense of serenity for you as well.
