A Wink on this Winters Day of Love 2016

Appearing in just a wink,
The dusky nightfall knows of our winters woe,
To hold and be held against the forest casts,
True is the love affair for the dear one we care,
As another spring that stares up,
From the cold earthlike residual of the world below,
You are the beauty like the colours I dream about and then I awake,
In our natural bodies in which we see the whites,
Only in the most daylight with gentle fondness
We caress with tenderness and play,
Snowdrops thus wild like our passions free and endless,
For the sun bays adieu and all will bed down for the night.

New Year in the Land of Pitt Meadows 2016

Love into this New Year,
Goodbye and a kiss from the last one and cheer,
More of the same hearts filled plans,
With the beautiful January sounds,
And another winters mean gaze of foggy lands,
So far the snow is banished and cast off,
Into our mountains of glory into distances so soft,
They're painted white as our breath is composed,
With the shameful clouds laughing with warm tears,
For the sweet sounds of melt that drifts and flows gently down,
Too where the earth buckles from below,
As icy crystals of strength change all and grow,
Those trees seem thin but strong with secrets,
We wish for spring with dressy leaves that do so cover,
These beautiful woody sentinels tall and spare,
For here soon green with life will bare,
We leave with warm hearts beating in silence and peace,
As every winter songbird paces it's breath in steady calm so free.

Quiet For Almost That Winters Beach 2015

From where we peer into this space,
That which the eddying tide slips and vacates,
Now, quick as the arctic elements are kept at bay,
The frost will move in similar ways,
Growing to entrance all that it's clutch would seize,
We see this sea from seeing more for we,
Like everything that day at the sea escapes too be,
An intensive journey the same,
But back to it's original resting place,
When mentioned this seascape which rests and filled a space,
For now, from the only shore so sure to know,
Could be a lovely entrance into Coles Bay,
Of peace for all and always more too adore.

On the Fronts 2015.

A scene of placidity,
Yet systems moving gently soon too collide,
From the peace towards our forsaken watch,
It is from afar which we stand,
Before this new break in the frigid air of dawn,
So divine to observe the sheen unto an awakening sky,
All that is captured in painted splendour is wise,
Now, from the cool winds that lift the anxious songbirds,
Those visible air masses form and float and move us,
Enough of the arctic tricksters play,
But admonished by the Pacific warm airs,
Too go and stay away,
Still moist and waiting to precipitate,
As we all know and anticipate.
